Healthy and Safety Matters
As 1.4 million working people suffering from a work-related illness (HSE), it is important that health and safety is at the heart of our business. For over 27 years we’ve been keeping our employees and clients safe.
Health and Safety Act 1974
All our staff are trained in safe working practices and risk assessments in line with Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and in line with our own health and safety and quality and environmental policy. To ensure our standards we use Full Circle Health and Safety who are independent advisors.
Working with Full Circle Health and Safety has given us an external fresh pair of eyes. Regular audits are undertaken where our processes are analysed to enable us to identify areas for improved health and safety that best suits our company’s needs.
To enforce our commitment to health and safety we have achieved accredited status with CHAS, NICEIC, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and Safe Contractor.
Introduced in March 2018, the new BS standard ISO 45001 is replacing OHSAS 18001. Here at CJ Connally we are working meticulously for a smooth transition in December 2019.
